Tech Mahindra To Offer Blockchain Solutions For Aviation, Telecom And Healthcare On Amazon Managed Blockchain Services

Tech Mahindra Recently announced its decision to join hands with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build solutions using blockchain technology. As per the agreement, Tech Mahindra will create solutions on Amazon Managed Blockchain. These solutions will then be introduced to global customers through AWS. The company is an AWS Partner Network (APN) Advanced Consulting Partner.

With the help of the popular open source framework, Amazon Managed Blockchain builds blockchain networks.

As per the deal that Tech Mahindra has entered into with Amazon Managed Blockchain, Tech Mahindra will create solutions mainly for these three areas: health care supply chain, telecom and aviation. Under the agreement, Tech Mahindra will offer solutions related to kit management to aviation and aerospace sector. These solutions will help aerospace and aviation companies to track and trace kits after they make a purchase. Companies needs to track kits as many layers of suppliers are involved in kit procurement.

For telecom sector, Tech Mahindra will offer enhanced visibility for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) on the Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) for business to consumer (B2C) supply chain.

In the medical supply chain, solutions made by Tech Mahindra will be used to track and identify fraudulent materials. Its solutions will make it possible for health care companies to detect any fraud in the supply of PPE kits, masks, gloves, sanitizers or any other materials.

Global businesses are struggling to survive the ongoing Covid Pandemic. Past 5-6 months have been extremely tough for them. For them the current Covid world is like navigating an unchartered territory. Thus, it is extremely important for them to ensure supply chain continuity. For this, they need innovative solutions.

Many organizations are planning to leverage Blockchain technologies to meet the challenges created by this Covid-19 pandemic. Tech Mahindra hopes that its solutions will help business to prepare for any future pandemic.
