Genesis Block

The genesis block is the basis of the entire blockchain system and the prototype of all subsequent blocks in the blockchain. The genesis block is almost always hardcoded into the software of the applications using its blockchain. This is a special block that does not refer to the previous one. Each block, created from the moment zero, can automatically track the genesis block as its ancestor through links with the previous ones.
